Nuits Romanes

During the months of July and August the Charente hosts the Festival Nuits Romanes, with around 200 events scattered around the region for us to enjoy.

“Nuits Romanes 2009, real meetings between the art novel, the contemporary performing arts and the repertoire of classical music. Hear the stories of our heritage, admire the architectural wonders, listening to the artists and taste local products at the end of the show … that’s what the region offers, for free, throughout the summer, with the fifth edition in 2009 .”

2009 will be the seventieth anniversary of the Circuit des Remparts event, join us this September to see classic cars racing around the Angouleme city streets.

Le Bouin is the perfect place from which to access Angouleme and catch all of the action then return in the evening to relax in the quiet countryside.
